AI Chat Importer is built with a privacy-first architecture. The Web App and Windows Desktop software process conversation exports locally on your device.
2. Conversation Data
AI Chat Importer does not collect, upload, store, or transmit your conversation history to external servers. All imported data remains on your device.
3. Website Analytics
The marketing website may use basic analytics tools to measure traffic and improve performance. These tools do not access or interact with your imported conversation data.
4. Email & Wishlist Submissions
If you join the Windows Desktop wishlist, your email address is collected solely for product updates. Email subscriptions are managed via a third-party email provider (MailerLite).
You may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in marketing emails.
5. Payments (Desktop Version)
Payments for the Windows Desktop version are processed securely by Stripe. AI Chat Importer does not store your payment information.
6. Cookies
The core Web App does not use cookies to process your conversation data. The marketing website may use minimal cookies required for functionality and analytics.
7. Data Retention
Conversation data remains on your device only. Wishlist email data is retained until you unsubscribe.
8. Your Rights
If you are located in the UK or EU, you have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data held for email subscriptions.
