AI Chat Importer is built with a privacy-first architecture. The Web App and Desktop App (Windows and Linux) process conversation exports locally on your device.
2. Conversation Data
AI Chat Importer does not collect, upload, store, or transmit your conversation history to external servers. All imported data remains on your device.
3. Website Analytics
The marketing website may use basic analytics tools to measure traffic and improve performance. These tools do not access or interact with your imported conversation data.
4. Email & Purchases
If you purchase the Desktop App, your email address is collected by Stripe for order confirmation and licence key delivery. This email may also be used to notify you of important product updates. You will not be added to a marketing list without separate consent.
5. Payments (Desktop Version)
Payments for the Desktop App are processed securely by Stripe. AI Chat Importer does not store your payment information.
6. Cookies
The core Web App does not use cookies to process your conversation data. The marketing website may use minimal cookies required for functionality and analytics.
7. Data Retention
Conversation data remains on your device only. Email addresses collected during a purchase are retained for transactional and licence management purposes.
